So I went to the MTA site to check out the subway maps and I'm greeted with a link to the MTA Podcast called TransitTrax. It's set up a bit funnily (is that a word?) in that there seems to be a different subscription link to each individual episode instead of an rss feed that lists all of the episodes in one place. Either way, I listened to one episode about the transit lost and found and it sort of sounds like one of those segments that they do on the WB 10 PM news. Still, I was very much impressed and even learned that there are a pair of prosthetic legs that have been sitting there for a number of years (now you know why that guy in Kids was singing "I have no legs, I have no legs" on the skateboard while shaking his fancy change cup). Check it out here.
This is what I need to keep track of my ideas. Just something small that can fit into my back pocket. I keep thinking of thing to write about but by the time that I get in front of my computer, the idea has completely vanished...
My Grandmother taught me, a long time ago, that it is best to put on one's socks before putting on one's pants. That way, you don't end up wrinkling your pants when you pull them up to put on your socks...
All of a sudden all of these people that I used to hang out with back in the day are coming back, but the strange thing is that it's going in reverse. First the Army people, then the high school people...this is very strange.
